2 adults, 6 children suffer injuries in single-vehicle wreck Sunday

Two adults and six children from Walnut Hill, Fla. suffered injuries in a single-vehicle wreck this afternoon on Occie Phillips Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP officials said in a release that the driver, a 37-year-old female, was traveling westbound on Occie Phillips Road, and lost control of her vehicle and collided with the embankment on the north shoulder of the roadway.
The front-seat passenger, a 47-year-old female; and six other children, ages 3, 8, 11, 4, 10 and 14, were transported to trauma alert at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla. All were listed in critical condition.
