Richard John Harigel

MOLINO, Fla. – Richard “Pop” John Harigel, 67, of Molino, Fla. passed away Oct. 25, 2012, in Atmore.

He was born Dec. 11, 1944, in Pensacola, Fla. to the late Vincent and Ethel Harigel. He was a graduate of Tate High School and was self employed in the restaurant business.  He also served in the United States Air Force.

His brothers, Freddy and V.J. Harigel preceded him in death.

Survivors include his sons, Sean (Cindy) Harigel of Pace, Fla., Dr. Shane (Dawn) Harigel of Molino, Fla., Shannon (Brandy) Harigel of Molino, Fla., Malcolm Harigel of Molino, Fla., Dr. Sheldon (Kim) Harigel of Bratt, Fla. and Cody (Deanna) Harigel of Pensacola, Fla.; sisters, Glenda Gulsby and Judy Herring, both of Molino, Fla.; God parents, W.C. and Doris Barnhill of Molino, Fla. and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Daniels and the Rev. Rob Hines officiating. Burial followed at Pugh’s Chapel Cemetery in Molino, Fla. Visitation was held from 10 until 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2012, from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were his sons.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
