ROBERTSDALE – The Atmore Christian School basketball team fell to 4-11 on the season Tuesday with a 61-27 loss to Central Christian.

Freshman Christian Scott led the team with 12 points. Sophomore Myles Maher added six in the losing effort.

Coach Tim Battles said he and the young team were “frustrated” by the loss.

“The energy level was low,” he said. “We played poorly. They were frustrated. I was frustrated and we discussed how to fix it.”

Atmore Christian travels to Biloxi, Miss. to take on Cedar Lake at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11. They host Central Christian at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15.
