The Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the 2013 – 2014 Chamber Ambassador Program from Escambia County High School, Escambia Academy, Atmore Christian School, Northview High School and home-schooled juniors.

Applications for the Chamber Ambassador program are available at the school offices, the chamber office located in the Atmore YMCA on Pensacola Avenue or online by emailing swilli@frontiernet.net.

Completed applications must be delivered to the Chamber offices no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, May 17.  Ambassador applicants should schedule their interview at this time.  Interviews will be held on the afternoons of Monday, May 20 and Tuesday, May 21 starting at 3 p.m.

As a Chamber Ambassador students are given the opportunity to do volunteer work for the community through the Chamber of Commerce.  Students are invited to make application for this program at the end of their junior year.  If selected, they serve as ambassadors during their senior year.  For more information about this program, call the chamber office at (251) 368-3305.
