Escambia Academy is still the highest-ranked two-loss team in AISA as the Alabama Sports Writers Association voted the Cougars at No. 6 in the latest poll, which was released Tuesday.

The Cougars just got off of a 39-0 rout over Lighthouse Christian, Fla. last week, and are in for a tough couple weeks against top-ranked Autauga Academy for the region championship this week; and against No. 2 Bessemer next week.

Over the next two weeks, EA will be fighting for home-field advantage in the playoffs. The Canoe School only needs to win against AA to clinch a home berth for the two rounds of postseason play.

Kick off for homecoming this week is at 7 p.m.
