Escambia County’s Lue Williams, Jordaun Patterson and Malik Brown scored in double figures Tuesday night to help lead the Blue Devils to a 64-62 victory over Vigor at Cornell Torrence Gymnasium in Atmore.

Williams led with 27 points, and Patterson and Brown had 12 each. Williams added 10 rebounds in the win.

With 1:31 left in the contest, ECHS scored seven much-needed points and got a defensive stop in the win.

Patterson drained a 3-pointer, and Brown attacked the baseline twice for easy buckets. Allen Patterson made a free throw, his only free shot of the night, to end the surge.

Vigor bounced back in the third period after the Wolves trailed by 10 at the break.

Demetrion Barnes chipped in with six points; and A. Patterson had four points for ECHS.

ECHS faces Flomaton tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. in the Escambia County Tournament at T.R. Miller.
