Alan Prather Sherrill Jr. passed away on May 1, 2018, in El Paso, Texas.

Alan was born on March 11, 1949 to the late Alan P. and Senie H. Sherrill.

He was raised in Atmore and attended Milllersburg Military Institute in

Kentucky.

Upon graduation, he joined the United States Marine Corps.

After an honorable discharge, Alan moved to El Paso, where he become

a long distance driver, delivering mail for the United States Postal Service.

He is survived by a brother, Kent (Anne) Sherrill of Walnut Hill, Fla.;

sister, Jan Sherrill of Pensacola, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
