Ms. Charlie Mae “TINA” Johnson of Moss Point, Miss., formerly of Atmore, fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on July 29, 2019 at a local hospital.

Charlie Mae affectionately known as “Tina” by her family and friends, was a native of Atmore and a 1967 graduate of Escambia County Training School.

After graduation she relocated to Detroit, Mich., where she studied nursing and worked. In later years, she relocated back south and made Moss Point her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Willie Mae Johnson.

Those left to cherish memories of her life are her daughters, Rachel Johnson of Detroit and Yolanda Flint of Moss Point; and one granddaughter, Tabitha Diane Johnson of Moss Point.

Funeral service will be held this Sat., Aug. 10, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 5425 Grierson St., Moss Point, MS 39563.

Inhumation will be in Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, Miss. with Unity Funeral Home, Moss Point, directing and Turner Funeral Chapel of Atmore announcing.
