Mrs. Cheri Denise Carnley, 62, of Uriah, formerly of Anniston, answered the master’s call on March 11, 2021 at her residence.

Those whom she joins in that eternal home are her parents, James Elbert and Barbara Patricia Sellers; and her grandparents, Denise Francis Callahan, Madeline Gertrude Mederm Orr, Harrison Sellers and Rhoda McKeechan.

Those left to cherish memories of her life are her husband, Curtis Michael Carnley of Uriah; a daughter, Marena Sellers Medruno of Collinsville, Va.; two sons, Christopher (Kayce) Smith of Oneonta and Derek (Veronica) Smith of Pensacola, Fla.; three sisters, Alison (DeWayne) Helmick of Albany, Ga., Jessie (Jeffrey) Smith of Hollis Crossroads and Barbara Duran of Las Vegas, N.V.; four brothers, Bradley Sellers of Asheville, Michael Sellers of Anniston, George (Debbie) Butler of Azusa, Calif. and Genie Pembrook of Bynum; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at a later date in Heflin with Turner Funeral Chapel in Atmore in charge of arrangements.
