Escambia County fell 44-12 to St. Michael in Class 4A, Region 1 action on Thursday night.

The Blue Devils didn’t have the best first half, losing three fumbles and a dropped punt, however.

Head football coach Scott Mason said the boys settled down and played a better second half.

Mason said ECHS outplayed St. Michae. in the second half of the game.

Next week, the Blue Devils visit Monroe County.
