DETROIT, Mich. – Mrs. Catherine H. Brown, 89, a resident of Detroit, Mich. and a native of Little River passed away Dec. 29, 2010 in Detroit, Mich.

Her husband, Mr. Henry Brown and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hampshire Marshall and Mrs. Estelle Jones, preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Mrs. Gloria McClammy (Willie) Harrell of Detroit, Mich. and one son, Mr. Eugene McClammy (Diane) of Fort Washington, Md.

Home going services will be held at noon on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011 from the Tate Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Little River in the Blacksher Community with the Rev. Sylvester Williams, pastor, officiating. Interment will be held in Tate Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 7, 2011 from the chapel of Mayberry Funeral Home.

Mayberry Funeral Home Atmore Chapel will be directing.
