FRISCO CITY – Kevin Christopher Lowery, 40, of Frisco City died Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 in Atmore.

He was employed by Masland Carpets and was born in Flomaton on Nov. 30, 1970 to Marshall R. and Fannie Ross Ellis Lowery. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an avid Alabama football fan. “Roll Tide!”

His mother, Fannie Ross Ellis, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his father, Marshall R. Lowery of Atmore; two daughters, Kristen Raeanna Lowery and Morgan Leigh Lowery, both of Brewton; one sister, Melissa Lowery Hudson and husband, Ricky, of Tuscaloosa; one brother, Monte Lowery and wife, Jennifer, of Atmore; two nieces and two nephews.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 21, 2011 from Atmore Memorial Chapel with Bro. Phillip Pettis officiating. Interment followed in Happy Valley Holiness Church Cemetery in Flomaton.

Active pallbearers were Cody Lowery, Bernard Richardson, Ricky Hudson, Brennon Smith, Chris Barkhouse, William Smith and Greg Lowery.

Family received friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday evening, Feb. 20, 2011 at Atmore Memorial Chapel.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. and Atmore Memorial Chapel were in charge of all arrangements.
