Atmore resident wins D.W. McMillan 5K run

About 100 runners and walkers took to the streets of Brewton Saturday morning for the annual D.W. McMillan 5K.

The race raises funds for the annual Relay for Life, which will be held on the grounds of the Brewton Area YMCA on April 2.

Keith Bell of Atmore was the overall winner, with a time of 19:38.

Shelby Youngblood and Amber Nelson, both runners on the T.R. Miller cross country and track teams, were the overall female winners.
