Northview High School is in the market for a new head football coach again.
Ken Rollins, who took over the position last summer, resigned over the Thanksgiving holidays following a disappointing 0-10 season.
Weaver said Rollins will stay on at Northview as a physical education teacher and track coach through the end of the school year, Rollins was unavailable for comment.
Athletic Director Sammy Day has taken over interim football duties such as scheduling and weight training.
No other coaching changes are expected until a new coach is hired, Weaver said.
Weaver said she hopes to find someone who can make a commitment to Northview as the school's next coach. The program has already seen three coaches in its five years of existence.
She said she has already received inquiries about the position from a number of potential candidates.
Rollins was hired to replace Gene Ellison, who left the school to become the head football coach at Crestview High School.
