Who says it's a man's world? The Atmore Babe Ruth 12-and-under softball team Totally Awesome, like the 11- and 12-year-old state champs, will also be competing in a regional for a chance to go to the Babe Ruth World Series.
Totally Awesome will travel to Swansboro, N.C., to play in the Babe Ruth Southeast Regional Tournament July 26-30. There will be eight or nine teams in the tournament. Many businesses and individuals have already made contributions to help with travel expenses, but a need for more support still exists.
