Ms. Brenda Faye Hancock, 37, died Tuesday, August 1, 2000, after an extended illness.
Ms. Hancock was a native of Pensacola and former resident of Repton before moving to Byrneville. She was a homemaker and attended Beulah Chapel Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Hancock.
Ms. Hancock is survived by her mother, Alice McGraw of Pensacola; five brothers, Wayne Hancock of Molino, Horace Hancock and Donnie Mylan, both of Pensacola, Doug Hancock of Anacoco, La. and Kenny Hancock of Cantonment; three sisters, Betty Wingate and Edna Cartwright, both of Pensacola and Rose Fails of Cantonment; friend and caretaker Justine (Ma Ma) Odom of Byrneville and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, August 5 at 10 a.m. at Beulah Chapel Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Shelton Kindig officiating. Burial followed in Beulah Chapel Cemetery.
Pall bearers were Tommy Fails, T. J. Fails, Adam Fails, Carl Hancock, Donnie Mylan and Randy Davis.
