Mrs. Gladys L. Dodge, 75, died Sunday, August 6, 2000, at her residence.
Mrs. Dodge was a lifelong resident of Century and was of the Protestant faith.
Mrs. Dodge was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Gilmore, and two sisters, Eloise Handrop and Irene Gilmore.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Dodge of Century; three sons, John Reed and Ronald Reed, both of Leesville and Buddy Tolin of Indianapolis, Ind.; four daughters, Jinx Wilson and Sandra Handley, both of Pensacola, Debbie Fields of Indianapolis and Shirley Tompkins of Bratt; 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 9 at 10 a.m. at Atmore Memorial Chapel with Pastor Warren Gilpin officiating.
Burial was at Godwin Cemetery in Bratt.
Pall bearers was Steve Carroll, James Tracey, Eddie Fisher, David Thorpe, William Wilson and Mike Fields.
Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
