Mrs. Clinnie Mae Franklin Stone, 96, died Monday October 2, 2000, in Atmore.
She was a life long resident of Escambia County. She was a Charter Member of Brooks Memorial Church, Davisville Home Demonstration Club, Davisville Community Club and North Escambia Democratic Womens Club and a Member of Eastern Florida Creek Nation.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Susan Daughtry Franklin, her husband, Jasper Stone, one son, George G. Stone and one great-grandson, Jasper Joseph Jones.
She is survived by one son, Wilbur Lee Stone of McDavid; seven grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 4 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Grindle officiating.
Burial will be in Walnut Hill Baptist Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Patricia Stone Sanders, Bruce Stone, Bob Stone T.S. Penny, Jerry Ferrell and Glen Wiggins
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
