After an agonizing homecoming loss to Robertsdale, the Escambia County Blue Devils look for redemption against Citronelle this Friday.
Taking down Citronelle will not be an easy task. They enter the game with a record of 4-2 and are very versatile on offense said Blue Devil's head coach Frankie Bell.
ECHS, coming into the game with only one victory, is looking to finish the year strong. That will require the Devils to minimize their mistakes and hold on to the football.
Bell said their schedule so far has been tough and that it is encouraging to think of what the Devils could do if not for the mental errors and turnovers.
Bell and the other coaches at ECHS are busy looking through their playbook this week looking for offensive and defensive plays that will be most effective against Citronelle.
He admitted that last week's homecoming loss was a disappointment for his players, but that they have continued to work hard in preparing for Citronelle.
The Devils will travel to Citronelle which makes the goal of victory tougher to achieve.
