Kenneth Green, 78, died Wednesday, October 26, 2000 at his residence in Poarch. He was a native of Escambia County, Alabama. He was born December 9, 1921 to the late James Marion and Carolina Mathis Green. He was employed with the United States Postal Service.
Mr. Green is survived by his wife Carra Ikner Green of Atmore; one son, William E. Green of Pineville, La.; three daughters, Linda Miller of West Palm Beach, Judith Kirby of Poarch and Louise Stanford of Castleberry; six nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October, 28, 2000 at 10 a.m. at Johnson Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Don Davis officiating. Burial was in the McCullough Cemetery in McCullough.
Pallbearers were Danny Lowery, Fred Coleman, Brian Green, Michael Stanford, Gregory Stanford and Sid Carter.
Honorary pallbearers were Otha Martin, Roy Stokes, Lloyd Biggs, and Edlow Kyser.
Johnson Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
