Eola Amos-Cole

Mrs. Eola Amos-Cole, 100, died Friday, November 17, 2000, in Atmore Community hospital.
She was a native of Butler County, a resident of Atmore and a member of Mt. Gillead Baptist Church.
Mrs. Amos-Cole was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Cole; her parents, Mose and Julia Amos; three daughters, Celest Cole-Fisher, June Rose Cole-Anthony and Vassie P. Cole; five brothers, Henry Amos, John Amos, Clemon Amos, DeWitt Amos and Joe Amos and three sisters, Rosie Lee Robinson, Corrie Savage and Gussie Amos.
She is survived by three daughters, Viola Cole-Blyth and her husband, Wheat, of Atmore, Rosie Bell Teague of Chicago, Ill. and Rosetta Cole-Topley of Danville, Va.; two sons, David D. Cole of Pensacola and Jullian Howard Cole and his wife, Delois, of Atmore; a son-in-law, Tony Anthony of Denver, Colo.; a nephew, Robert Dempsey Robinson of Cantonment; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 22 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Gillead Baptist Church with the Rev. Alfonzia Williams officiating.
Burial will be at at Fairview Cemetery.
Robinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
