Mr. Bush King, 85, died Friday, November 24, 2000, in Bay Minette.
He was a native of Monroe County, was retired from F. H. King &Sons Lumber Company and was a resident of William F. Green State V. A. Home.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Davis King of Atmore; two brothers, Henderson King of Repton and Hugo King of Crestview, Fla.; five sisters, Hannis Crumbie of Chrysler, Ala., Ann K. McDonald of Bay Minette, Gene K. Myles of Mobile, Brunette K. Wolfe of Huntsville and Mazie K. Hadley of Atmore and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 29 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Bro. Kelly Brown and Bro. Tom Snyder officiating.
Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery with full military honors.
Active pallbearers were Carl King, Jerry King, Mack King, David Hadley and Richard McDonald. Honorary pallbearers was the John Smith Sunday School Class.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the R.&R. Building Fund at First Baptist Church.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
