Mary Katlyn "Katie" Starrett, 4, died Saturday, December 2, 2000, in Escambia County.
Katie was a native of Brewton and a resident of Barnett Crossroads for the past year.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Clara Starrett, a great-grandfather, Calvin Parnell and a great-grandmother, Mary Starrett.
She is survived by her parents, Kristie Starrett and Tony Starrett; her sister, Santara Reigh Starrett of Barnett Crossroads; her grandparents, Shannon Johns of Molino, Patricia Johns of Villa Rica, Ga. and Carl Starrett of Barnett Crossroads; her great-grandmothers, Loree Walls of Atmore, Katie Capers of Century, Tiny Parnell of Tibbie and Virginia Stewart of Atmore; a great-grandfather, Carl J. Starrett of Houston, Texas; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, December 5 at 2 p.m. at Moyeville Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Daniels and the Rev. Robert Thrower officiating.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
