To the editor:
I would like to say thank you to your paper and to all the people of Atmore and the surrounding area for coming to this year's Lottie Lights 2000 live nativity during the week of Dec. 17-23. We saw 14,432 people come from more than 40 cites, towns and communities, many as far as Mobile, Gulf Shores, Pensacola, Jackson, Andalusia, Monroeville, etc.
It's very humbling to see the power of God work in so many people's lives, in such a spiritual way, We at Lottie Baptist Church would like to make sure that our Lord gets all the glory for what He's doing at our fellowship, and we would love to invite everyone to Passion Play 2001, April 15-18. We're believing God for 15,000 to 20,000 people to watch the event that will chronicle the last few days of Christ's life from the Lord's Supper, the betrayal of Judas, Peter's denial, the death on the cross and the resurrection.
