The Atmore Police Depart-ment is investigating a shooting that occurred off Jack Springs Road in the early morning hours on Sunday, Dec. 31.
Police Chief Danny McKinley declined to release details Tuesday afternoon, pending the investigation.
McKinley confirmed that one person was wounded. The victim is hospitalized and listed in good condition.
No arrests had been made at press time Tuesday.
