William Arvin "Dub" Smith

Mr. William Arvin "Dub" Smith, 65, died Friday, December 29, 2000, at a Pensacola hospital,
Mr. Smith had been a native of Robinsonville and a resident of Davisville for the past 55 years. He was retired from the U. S. Air Force and was a retired bus driver for the Escambia County Florida School Board.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvin and Annie Bell Smith; two brothers, Clifton Smith and Rex Smith and two sisters, Dorothy Chavers and Catherine Commalander.
Mr. Smith is survived by three brothers, Billy Joe Smith of Atmore, Otis Wayne Smith of Davisville and Jimmy Smith of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Bobbie Barlow of Cleveland, Texas and Wanda LaVia of Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, January l, 2001 at 11a.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Elder Grover Hall and Elder Mike Clark officiating.
Burial followed at the Canoe Freewill Cemetery.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
