Mrs. Eucedar Naomi Dunsford, 91, of McDavid died Saturday January 20, 2001, at her home. Mrs. Dunsford was a native of Jay and a resident of McDavid for the past 48 years and was a member of McDavid United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Richard Dunsford; a son, Bernice Gene Dunsford and a grandson. James Raymond Dunsford.
Mrs. Dunsford is survived by three sons, Hubert Wade Dunsford, of Byrneville, James Daniel Dunsford, of Grand Bay and Clifton Herman Dunsford of Bluff Springs; three daughters, Mollie Dunsford of McDavid, Josie Driver, of McDavid and Sadie Burkett of Pineview; 22 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 23 at 1 p.m. at Cora Baptist Church in Jay with the Rev. Scott Todd officiating.
Burial was at Cora Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Roger Dale Burnett, Cecil Driver Jr., Mike Dunsford, Ronald Burkett, Douglas Dunsford, and Terry Dunsford. Honorary pallbearers were Danny Dunsford, Steve Dunsford, Michael Burkett, Timmy Burkett, Scotty Driver, and Chris Dunsford.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
