Mr. Bobby Ray English, 67, of Atmore, died Friday, January 26, 2001, in Atmore.
Mr. English was a retired Corrections Officer with the State of Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Mae Feaster English and a daughter, Mary Beth Hughes Sullivan.
Mr. English is survived by his wife, Juanita S. English of Atmore; three sons, Ronnie Hughes and Ricky Hughes, both of Atmore and Mark Hughes of Atlanta, Ga.; three daughters, Gloria Smith of Atmore and LaDonna Hughes Cawthron and Kathy Collins, both of Foley; three brothers, Eddie English of Jackson, Miss., Tom J. English of Alcoa, Tenn. and Jerrel English of Escondido, Calif.; a sister, Sandra Dunn of Rocky Hill, AIa.; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, January 29 at 2 p.m. at Church Of The Living God with Bro. Earl Harrison and Bro. Don Davis officiating.
Burial was at Serenity Gardens.
Active pallbearers were Kevin Peacock, Van Hughes, Scotty Hughes, Chris Hughes and Jimmy Steege. Honorary pallbearers were Terry Cawthron and Billy Smith.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, INC was in charge of arrangements.
