Mr. Thomas Ray Lindsey, 52, died Thursday, February 1, 2001, at Atmore Community Hospital.
Mr. Lindsey was born in Stockton and was a resident of Atmore. He was a diesel and automobile mechanic and a veteran of the U. S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James G. "Pete" and Zuline Lindsey.
Mr. Lindsey is survived by his wife, Barbara Hadley Lindsey of Atmore; four sons, Greg Johnson and his wife, Sherie, Ricky Lindsey and his wife , Lisa, and Randy Lindsey and his wife, Keri, all of Atmore and Dale Lindsey and his wife, Stephanie, of Perdido; three sisters, Frances Harrelson and her husband, Mack, of Atmore, Elizabeth Lindsey of Butler and Earline Lindsey of Mobile; two half-brothers, Claresse Foster of Perdido and Robbie Cook of Bay Minette; a brother, James Arnold Lindsey of Mobile and 11 grandchildren, R. J. Lindsey, Tiffany Johnson, Tommy Lindsey, Kim Lindsey, Jessica Johnson, Kamrin Brock, Dustin Lindsey, Shane Lindsey, Madison Brock, Dallas Lindsey and Dana Lindsey.
Funeral services were held Sunday, February 4 at 2 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home chapel with Sister Helen Stewart officiating.
Burial followed at Bay Minette Cemetery.
Pallbearers were William Earl Frazier, Mack Harrelson, Jimmy Boutwell, James Reed, Wendell Hadley, Aubrey Foster, James Nickerson and Gary Sexton.
Norris Funeral Home in Bay Minette was in charge of arrangements.
