I want to express the appreciation of the Atmore Historical Society for your reprinting of the Heritage 76, A Historical Review of Escambia County and Its Communities.
Many of us have copies of the original Heritage 76 which we treasure. The reprinting of the issue will allow another generation to preserve and pass on to their children Escambia County's and Atmore's history.
We often become so busy with the present that we fail to preserve the past for the future. With your recent publication of Heritage 76, you have made a much appreciated contribution to the preservation of Atmore's history.
