Mrs. Ruby Voncile Lynn Taylor, 90, died Saturday, March 10, 2001, in Atmore.
She was a native of Brewton and a resident of Atmore for the past 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest Henry and Mary Elizabeth Harris Lynn; her husband, Charles W. Taylor; two sons, Charles Taylor Jr. and Bob Taylor and two sons-in-law, Preston Tomlinson and Alger McGhee Jr.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by a son, Calvin Taylor and his wife, Janet, of Birmingham; three daughters, Charlyn Jackson and her husband, Leonard, of Moss Point, Miss., Agnes Tomlinson of Mobile and Annice McGhee of Atmore; three brothers, Alfred Lynn of Jacksonville, Fla., Reginald Lynn of Milton and J. W. Lynn of Tallahassee, Fla.; three sisters, Effie Simmons of Grand Bay, Catheline Matthews of Montgomery and Roberta Lynn of Milton; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, March 13 at 1 p.m. at Antioch Primative Baptist Cemetery in Evergreen with Bro. Bill Stewart officiating. Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
