Elisha "Cadillac" Stallworth

Reverend Elisha "Cadillac" Stallworth, 76, died Friday, April 6, 2001, in a V. A. Hospital in Columbia, S. C.
Rev. Stallworth was a native of Evergreen and resident of Rock Hill, S. C. for 37 years. He was affiliated with Mt. Nebo AME Zion Church in Richburg, S. C., was a retired concrete finisher, had served in the United States Army and was a student at Escambia County High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Elsie Howard Stallworth; two daughters, Ora Lee Stallworth and Wilormena Stallworth-Hardy and a brother, Johnnie Stallworth.
Rev. Stallworth is survived by three daughters, Evangelist Ernestine Stallworth-Moore of Rock Hill, Felisha Stallworth of Richburg and Loreatha Fox of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sons, Andrew Scott of Los Angeles and Clifton Scott of Richburg; an adopted daughter, Evelyn Massey of Rock Hill; four brothers, Rev. Willie Stallworth of Columbia, Rev. Paul Stallworth of Atmore, Henry Stallworth of Waco, Texas and James Stallworth of Rock Hill; three sisters, Rev. Julia Gomez and Iva Farmer, both of Lancaster, Pa. and Alice Shell of Pensacola; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A graveside ceremony was held Saturday, April 14 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where the Rev. Elisha Stallworth once membershipped.
Burial was at Stallworth Cemetery.
Robinson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
