Mrs. Evelene Baker Brewer, 74, died Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at a Santa Rosa County Hospital.
Mrs. Brewer was a native of Hackleburg, Ala. and a resident of Flomaton since 1954. She was a retired employee of Monsanto and attended the Bethel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle C. Brewer and a son, Ronnie Lee Brewer.
Mrs. Brewer is survived by her son, Dwight Brewer and his wife, Tonya, of Century; four grandchildren, Rodney and Kelly Brewer of Flomaton and Christopher Madlock, Kayla Brewer and Lindsey Ella Brewer, all of Century, a great-grandson, Peyton Dwight Brewer of Flomaton and a loyal and special friend, Willie Mae Childers of Byrneville.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 14 at 10 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Boggs and the Rev. Curtis Joyner officiating.
Burial was at the Flomaton Cemetery.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
