To the editor:
Recently, we had car trouble traveling on Highway 65 near Atmore. We hobbled off the interstate into a BP station where we met a very nice lady who assisted us in calling a wrecker. AAA Wrecker was very prompt and dispatched a young man who was pleasant, courteous and conscientious. He towed us to Johnson Ford as we had requested that he take us to the Ford dealership in Atmore. We were greeted by Mr. Steve Godwin, Service Coordinator who immediately set the wheels in motion to get our car repaired. We were supposed to be at our destination within a certain time frame and he understood this. He checked on us several times in the waiting room, keeping us updated on the progress of the repair work. Due to Mr. Godwin's understanding of our situation and the expeditious mechanics, we were able to reach our destination on time.
We would very much like to thank each and every individual we encountered; especially Mr. Godwin, who is a credit and asset to Johnson Ford. Instead of a bad memory of breaking down in Atmore, we have a pleasant memory of meeting some very nice, helpful people.
