Mrs. Mary Ellen Creamer, 76, died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, at a Pensacola hospital.
Mrs. Creamer was a native of Excel and resident of Atmore for the past 39 years. She attended the Methodist church and was retired from Vanity Fair after 40 years.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Chavers.
Mrs. Creamer is survived by her husband, Robert Creamer of Atmore; a daughter, Peggy Cain of Bay Minette; two sisters, Betty Woolley of Pine Bay, Fla. and Ann Tomlinson of Molino; four grandchildren; Angela Cain, Michael Chavers, Libby Muncy and Michelle Cain and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, May 31 at 2 p.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Gandy officiating.
Burial was at Godwin cemetery.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
