Ernest Jenks and Irma Jenks

Ernest Jenks and his wife Irma both died a little more than a week apart. Ernest, 85, of Clear Springs, Ala., died April 27, 2001. He was born in Blacksher, Ala. and was retired from Champion Paper Co.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Betty McCormick.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Kinnie and Elsie Jenks,and Ray and Sharon Jenks; a son-in-law, Ralph McCormick; a stepson, Wayne Davis,; grandchildren, Edward McCormick, Vicky Pagonis, Kelly Miller, Traci Garman, Randy Jenks, Jon Jenks, Kenneth Jenks, John Jenks and Lucinda Pierre; 12 great grandchildren and two sisters, Lila Gibson, and Betty English, both of Atmore.
Irma Jenks, 74, of Roberstdale, died Monday, May 7, 2001 .
She is survived by her son, Wayne Davis, two step-sons, Kinnie Jenks and his wife Elsie, and Ray Jenks and his wife, Sharon; one grandchild; nine step-grandchildren; one step-son-in-law; one brother-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and a very special friend, Gloria Brewer and her family.
They were both members of the Farm Hill Holiness Church and the Rev. Robert Porter officiated both ceremonies.
They were placed to rest side by side in Clear Springs Cemetery.
Faith Chapel North was in charge of arrangements.
