Apple Barrel gets two wins

Apple Barrel continued to improve on their record as they earned two more victories in Atmore's Babe Ruth League.
Apple Barrel 13, Greenlawn 7
Apple Barrel batted around the order in the fourth, scoring nine runs, to lift them over Greenlawn, 13-7 on June 7.
Leading Apple Barrel was Derek Martin with three runs. Norris Brooks, Jordan Drew and Daniel Sands scored two runs each. Brian Strawbridge, Michael Harrison, Devin Rodriguez and Brian Sanspree also scored.
Chris Andrews, Matt Amerson and Trent Flowers led Greenlawn with two runs each. Brian Johnson also scored.
Brooks earned the victory on the mound for Apple Barrel.
Amerson, Flowers and Calvin Hartley pitched for Greenlawn.
Apple Barrel 10, Pepsi 5
Apple Barrel jumped on top of Pepsi early to help earn a 10-5 win on June 12.
Leading Apple Barrel offensively was Nick McGhee who scored three runs. Derek Martin scored two runs. Brian Strawbridge, Norris Brooks, Brandon Wilson, Devin Rodriguez and Brannon Sanspree also scored.
Chris Frost led Pepsi with two runs. John Flowers, Ray James and Jeremy Lisenby also scored.
Huddle House 8, Greenlawn 4
Huddle House held Greenlawn to only four runs as they picked up an 8-4 victory on June 12.
Craig Montel and Josh Montel led Huddle House as they scored two runs each. Trevor Daughtry, Don Alexander, Michael Rolin and Jamie Young also scored.
Chris Andrews, Kevin Adair, Devin King and Jeremy Rolin scored for Greenlawn.
Alexander picked up the win on the mound for Huddle House and C. Montel pitched two innings in relief.
Adair pitched three innings for Greenlawn and was relieved by Owen Moore.
