Huddle House gets revenge in tournament

Huddle House scored five runs in the sixth inning to defeat Pepsi 7-5 in the city tournament championship game. Pepsi had beat Huddle House in the final two games of the regular season to earn the Babe Ruth League championship.
Leading Huddle House was Josh Montel with two runs. Craig Montel, Don Alexander, Charles Dailey, Mike McAnally and Jamie Young also scored.
Ray James led Pepsi with two runs. Phillip Eubanks and Steven Shirley also scored.
Huddle House 20, Frontier 13
Huddle House advanced to the championship by defeating Frontier, 20-13, on June 18.
J. Montel and C. Montel led Huddle House with four runs each. Trevor Daughtry and Alexander scored three runs each.
Michael Rolins scored two runs while Tyler Wilkins, Alvin Simons, Jamie Young and Brandon Arnold chipped in one run each.
John Brantley and Brandon Moore led Frontier with three runs each. Chris Moore scored two runs. Robert Hardy, Franklin Boykin, Darrius English, Oliver Petty and Josh Morgan also scored.
Pepsi 11, Greenlawn 4
Pepsi made it to the championship game with an 11-4 victory over Greenlawn on June 19.
John Flowers,Shirley and James led Pepsi with two runs each. Eubanks, J.R. Hall, Chris Graham, Chris Frost and Jeremy Lisenby also scored.
Kevin Adair, Jeremy Rolin, Clay Cummings and Cedric Sharp scored for Greenlawn.
Greenlawn 11, Apple Barrel 9
Greenlawn scored ten runs in the sixth to earn an 11-9 first-round victory over Apple Barrel on June 18.
Owen Moore and Devin King led Greenlawn with two runs each.
Chris Andrews, Adair, Matt Amerson, Jeremy Rolin, Cummings, Sharp and Kyle Kirby also scored.
Matthew Reynolds and Devin Rodriguez led Apple Barrel with two runs each. Derek Martin, Brian Strawbridge, Norris Brooks, Jordan Drew and Brandon Wilson also scored.
