Edward "Scrip" Wright

Mr. Edward "Scrip" Wright, 90, died Wednesday, July 4, 2001, at West Florida Hospital.
He was a native of Pensacola and resident of Century. He was retired from Flomaton Gravel Company and Atmore Motor Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel and Ruby Wright and a daughter, Cassandra Boyd.
Wright is survived by loving companion, Amy Wright of Century; four daughters, Ruby Owens of Detroit, Mich., Delores Mincer of Orlando, Fla. and Martha Cottrell and her husband, Alfonzie, and Lillie Wright, all of Century; a son, the Rev. Edward Armstrong and his wife, Emma, of Florala; 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 7 at 2 p.m. at Edward Point Christian Church with the Rev. Lamar Randall officiating.
Pallbearers were Deacons.
Burial was at Century Cemetery.
Robinson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
