Mrs. Martha B. Burrell, 94, died Friday, July 13, 2001.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim Mitchell and Sally Bradford; her husband, Roosevelt Burrell and four sons, Joe Burrell, David Burrell, Roosevelt Burrell Jr. and Andrew Burrell.
Burrell is survived by a sister, Lillian Tate of Prichard; a brother, Jack Mitchell of Prichard; a son, Peter Burrell; four daughters, Channie Roberts, Frannie Brown and her husband, Homer and Agnes Wilson, all of Atmore and Mary Carry and her husband, Willie, of Jersey City, N. J.; 42 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 20 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church of Nokomis. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service.
Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
