Mr. Charles Farrell Brown, formerly of Pensacola, died Monday, July 9, 2001, in Houston, Texas, after a long illness.
He was a graduate of Pensacola High School and Louisiana State University. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a registered petroleum engineer for many years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Mae Brown of Pensacola; his father, Benson Keller Brown of Jay and a brother, William Benson Brown of Pensacola.
Brown is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Brown of Houston; his brother, Glynn Brown and his wife, Wanda, of Gulf Breeze; five children, Laura Lynn Morton, Julia Glynn Kubiak and Christopher Farrell Brown, all of Houston, Kasandra Marie Kalow of Cypress, Texas and Charlene Renee Garner of Abilene, Texas and their mother, Laura Chadwick Barlow of Tomball, Texas. Many of Mr. Brown's relatives live in Pensacola, Houston, Atmore and Huxford.
A memorial service was held July 13 in Houston.
