Lindbergh Ferrell

Mr. Lindbergh Ferrell, 70, died Friday, August 24, 2001, at North Baldwin Hospital.
Ferrell retired from the U. S. Air Force after 20 years of service. During this time he served in the Korean and Vietnam Conflict and received a number of medals and commendations for his service. He was a member of Perdido Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ferrell of Bay Minette; four sons, Richard P. Ferrell of Huntville, CMSgt Greg Ferrell of Peterson AFB, Colo., James D. Ferrell and Dennis R. Ferrell, both of Bay Minette; two brothers, Charles Ferrell of Perdido and Dan Ferrell of Huxford; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 27 at 2 p.m. at Perdido Baptist Church with the Rev. Tony Gibson officiating.
Burial followed at Deans Cemetery with full military honors.
Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
