Mr. Luthern Verne Fountain, 73, of Canoe died Monday, August 27, 2001, in Pensacola.
He was a retired truck driver with Grady Oil. Co.
Fountain was preceded in death by his parents, Julius S. and Mamie Brown Fountain.
He is survived by two brothers, Robert "Bob" Fountain and his wife, Vivian, of Canoe and Howard Fountain and his wife, Margaret, of Robertsdale; a sister, Gladys Pope of Pensacola; special niece, Esther Smelley and her husband, Ray, of Pensacola and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Thursday, August 30 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until service time.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 30 at 11 a.m.at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Chapel with Bro. Kelly Brown officiating.
Burial will follow at Hall Cemetery.
