Terry Forbes

Rev. Terry Forbes, died Sunday, August 26, 2001, at Providence Hospital in Mobile.
Forbes resided in Foley, where he owned and operated Timeless Boats for 20 years. Rev. Forbes attended the School of Theology at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn., class of 2000. He was ordained to the Sacred Order of Deacons at Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Gulf Shores on July 21, 2000, and to the Sacred Order of Priests on February 3, 2001, at St. Anna's Episcopal in the Poarch Community, where he served as vicar until his death.
He was preceded in death by one of his sons, Kevin Paul Forbes.
Forbes is survived by his wife, Sylvia Carpenter Forbes, a teacher at Spanish Fort School; two sons, Kurt Allen Forbes of Elberta and Douglas Scott Forbes of Foley; a sister, Karen Kerageorgion of Mandeville, La.; and a granddaughter, Susanna Lee Forbes of Elberta.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 30 at 11 a.m. at St. Anna's .
Burial will followed at Camp Beckwith, Weeks Bay .
All are invited to Camp Beckwith for a celebration of Rev. Forbes ministry at 5:00 p.m.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to St. Anna's Building Fund, 100 Lyn McGhee Drive, Atmore, AL 36502
