Coming off an impressive 56-8 Homecoming win against Bonifay, the Northview High School Chiefs have turned their attention to Catholic High School.
Catholic has a 2-4 record, but that is deceiving. According to coach Bo Lambeth, Catholic has lost some close games.
Northview's offense has averaged over 50 points per ball game, and they are going to need this kind of explosion against Catholic, Lambeth said.
This year, Lambeth said Catholic has a strong defense and making the NHS offense overcome this will be the key to Northview's success.
Catholic's offense will also pose a threat to the Chief's defense. "They run a very wide open type of offense," said Lambeth. "We have gone through our usual week of practice. We just need to find out what we can do to contain them."
NHS boasts a 6-0 record and is in first place in area play.
The Chiefs will be on the road this Friday night. The game will be homecoming for Catholic.
Northview is 4-0 in district play, and this will be another important district contest for the Chiefs.
A win Friday night will put the Chiefs in the play-offs and will put them in the drivers seat for the district championship..
