Mrs. Cassie Mae Burkett, 81, died Monday, November 5, 2001, in Pensacola.
Mrs. Burkett was a native of Flomaton and resident of Cantonment for the past 42 years. She attended Gonzalez Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Johnnie H. Burkett of Cantonment; her son, Joseph L. Reid of Atlanta; a daughter, Wanda Faye Steudlein of Pensacola; three grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Wednesday, November 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Thursday, November 8 at 2 p.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. R. C. Wiggins and Bro. John Kuritz officiating.
Burial will be at Christian Home Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be F. W. Dockens, Ricky Parham, Mike Burkett, Randy Burkett, Lavon Parham and Billy Holland.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
