Mrs. Annie Lee Thames-Ikner, 88, died Friday, November 9, 2001, in Specialty Center of Pensacola.
She was a native of Frisco City, resident of Walnut Hill and member of St. Paul Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lige Ikner; her parents, Anderson and Bertha Thames; a daughter, Evanette Bradley; a son, Danny Moore-Ikner; three brothers, Savage Thames, Doug Thames and Matthew Thames; two sisters-in-law, Joana Thames and Anni Lee Thames; step-daughter, Minnie Bell Dean (Joe Dean); John P. (Lula Ikner) of Pensacola, John B. (Bertha Ikner) of Loxley and Willie Sam (Elizabeth Ikner) of Loxley.
She is survived by three daughters, Bertha Ikner-Stanley and Bernice (Claude Smith), both of Pensacola and Conswilla (Donald Knott, Jr.) of Walnut Hill; three sons, Otis Ikner of Crestview, Curtis Thames of New York City and J. W. Ikner (Lola Mae) of Walnut Hill; three step-daughters, Mary Lou Milton and Elmyria Wright, both of Loxley and Ruby Lee (Monroe Johnson); 23 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 14 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church in Walnut Hill. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be at St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and flower bearers will be her granddaughters.
Robinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
