Mrs. Viola Elizabeth "Liz" Johnson, 51, died Monday, November 12, 2001, in Canoe.
Mrs. Johnson was a native of Bratt and resident of Canoe for the past 31 years. She has been at Stone Container and attended First Baptist Church of Bratt.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Davis, two infant sons and a daughter.
She is survived by her mother, Christine Davis of Bratt; her husband, Roy Johnson of Canoe; two step-sons, Tommy Kirksey and Mickey Kirksey, both of Pensacola; four daughters, Brenda Coker and her husband, Rodney and Sandra Johnson, both of Atmore, Linda Gorum and her husband, Danny, of Huxford and Wanda Moye of Brewton; two brothers, John Davis and his wife, Doreen, of St. Augustine and Terry Davis of Bratt; a sister, Sandra Johnson and her husband, Van, of Nokomis; an adopted sister, Becky Bell of Flomaton; four grandchildren, Samantha Moye of Brewton and Brett Gorum, Amber Gorum and Danie Gorum, all of Huxford, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 14 at 2 p.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Hodges officiating.
Burial will follow at Godwin Cemetery.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
