Carolyn Jean "Peanut" Currie

Ms. Carolyn Jean "Peanut" Currie, 51, died Tuesday, December 4, 2001, at Baptist Hospital.
She was a native of Pensacola and lifetime resident of Atmore. SHe was a member of Holy Community Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Essie Lee Canada.
Miss Currie is survived by a son, Isreal Currie and his wife, Lisa, of Durham, S. C.; her father, Bill Currie of Tampa, Fla.; six sisters, Marva Lee Russell, Ester Jett, Sheila Hill and her husband, Kenneth, Brenda Walker, Darnell Nichols of Birmingham and Juanita Neason of Dallas, Texas; three brothers, Larry Walker and his wife, Gladys, of Flomaton, Eric Canada and his wife, Erica, of Birmingham and Matthew Currie and his wife, Sonya, of Cleveland, Ohio and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 9 at 2 p.m. at Holy Community Holiness Church with Elder Jimmy C. Wilson officiating.
Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
Turner Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
