Mr. Raymond L. Barron Jr., 68, died Thursday, November 29, 2201, at Baptist Hosptial in Pensacola.
He was a native of Nokomis and resident of Pensacola for many years. He worked as a truck driver for Supreme Paper Company, had worked for Coca-Cola Bottling Company and was a U. S. Army veteran. He had attended Escambia County Training Academy.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary L. Barron and two sons.
Mr. Barron is survived by his father, Raymond Barron Sr. of Nokomis; four daughters, Patricia Bradley and her husband, Lessell, Julia Hubert and her husband, Ben and Annette Barron, all of Atmore, and Lois Barron of Milwaukee, Wis.; six sisters, Minnie Street, Doris Robinson, Margaret Martin and her husband, Don, all of Nokomis, Alice M. BArron and Mary M. Barron, both of Freeport, N. Y. and Barbara Graves and her husband, Tyrone, of Atmore; two brothers, Walter Barron and his wife, Virginia, of Westbury, N. Y. and Floyd Barron of Detroit, Mich.; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 8 at 12 noon at Mt. Shilhoh Baptist Church with Elder Louis Banks Sr. officiating.
Burial was at Mt. Shilhoh Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were friends of the family.
Turner Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
